‘Every Child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up’ – Pablo Picasso
As we grow up we are conditioned to believe that we have to be highly skilled in order to create art. This means so many of us suppress our innate creativity and playfulness. Expressing our inner-child through art without judgment, brings us back to our authenticity in the present moment. This is a fun way of reducing stress and enhancing wellbeing!
The workshops will be facilitated by artist and designer, Rachel Browne. Since graduating from the Glasgow School of Art Rachel’s experience includes kids workshop facilitation, Costume Breakdown for film, Carpet Design and she painted the Hans Sloane Centre Mural promoting STEM and learning for kids.
See you there!
Please note: the workshops are not classified as art therapy. Rachel will create a supportive, relaxing and fun environment for participants.
