A group of local volunteers organise the Friendship Group for Senior Citizens in the area. The group meet every week 1:30-3:30 pm during term time, mostly at the Centre, for crafts, conversation, afternoon tea, films and speakers. Currently the group has 22 members and new members are always welcome. The group is open to all and men are encouraged to join.
