Huguenot legacy in Ireland

by Tommy Barr

When?  7pm on Thursday 3rd October

We are delighted to also announce that Tommy will give a talk at the Sir Hans Sloane Centre on the Huguenots, their times and legacy in Ireland.

Exhibiting his art internationally, Tommy speaks on the history and the legacies of the past that inspire it.  Best described in his own words, Tommy’s work is a “personalised form of abstraction to create an image which captures a meaning, a beauty or an instant in time of the subject.   The abstraction means that the images are never definitively rendered, allowing the space for each viewer to interpret, based on their own experiences and hopefully also enjoy each piece in a personal way.”
