The Centre supports Shrigley and we wish to engage with the people of Shrigley over the restoration of the Shrigley Monument. The Bell has been hidden away in storage with the NIHE. They have kindly agreed a loan of the Bell for a year, here at the Centre. Do come along and see it, sign our petition for the restoration of the Bell and creation of a new area on the green with a record of the history and work leading to creating a community hub. Public Meeting 1st Dec 7:00pm here in the Centre. We so need the support of young school and university students and can offer work experience and a bursary for input to this project.
