We were funded by the Ulster Scots Agency to run the Summer Scheme as a cross community event for the second year. It was a great success with the children enjoying tasting Haggis, tatties, neeps and porridge. We had Scottish Highland Dancing, Bagpipes and drums and the children got to try out all for themselves. Such talent from the young dancers of the Michelle School of Highland Dancing and students Jamie Rice of St Patrick’s Grammar School Downpatrick and Philip Murphy St Coleman’s College Ballynahinch .
